In one of the highest scoring games of the season, both teams combined for 23 runs and 36 hits. Sisler, who also scored 4 runs and drove in two, led the attack for Mississippi, which banged out 19 hits against 4 Pawtucket pitchers. Mississippi exploded in the 4th inning and scored 11 runs off of Dutchmen starter George Uhle and reliever Ownie Carroll. Goose Goslin drove in 5 runs and went 3 for 6.
