As Fremont prepares for the upcoming 43 season management has asked the PR dept to make a few announcments. With only 5 regulars returning this year and if its more then that or less then that we don't care, management has informed the players that spring training will be held in Fremont. The field will be shoveled once in the morning and gloves and stocking hats will not be provided. Also during the season players will not be given meal money. Instead they will be served their choice of a ham or cheese sandwich, an apple or a banana or as much blueberry buckle from the baby food department as they would like. As for the fans, Fremont would like to announce the extension of Ladies day games every Wednesday. Any lady or gentleman willing to dress like a lady will be allowed in free!! Hopefully this will keep attendance numbers above the 1933 season. In commeration of last seasons world series appearance all players were given free gerber life insurance policies for their children instead of world series appearance rings. Those players without children were given certificates for free haircuts at Bob's Barbershop in town and a free shoe fitting from Veredeveld's shoes in downtown Fremont. Fremont also must announce that Suga has been suspended from the first three games for conduct detrimental to baseball for allowing an ineligible player to play during last years series. Suga's response was "that will be three games they can't blame me for this year!!!"
