Biography
"As a backup catcher for the 1932 Reds, Casper Asbjornson was given a day in his honor by fellow natives on Concord, Massachusetts during a team trip to Boston. After receiving a hefty check in pregame ceremonies, he celebrated by hitting his only major league home run. After the game he discovered that the check had not been signed. When he brought it to the restaurant where he was due to be honored with more festivities, he discovered that no one had showed up."
