April 3, 1935: Traded by Montgomery to Harlem for Pepper Martin.


Biography
Castleman debuted for the Giants in 1934 and pitched for the team until 1939 when an injury ended his career. He compiled a career record of 36-26 and a 4.25 record and his best season came in 1935 when he finished 15-6 with a 4.09 ERA.
He was the last winning pitcher at the Baker Bowl in Philadelphia.
