Biography

At 23, Roger Peckinpaugh became the youngest manager ever when he took the helm of the New York Yankees in 1914. Oddly enough, as GM for the Cleveland Indians in 1942, he hired 24-year old Lou Boudreau as manager.
He also holds the record for errors in a World Series with eight in the 1925 Series.
