St Louis - A Tony Lazzeri single with two out in the ninth scored the winning run as St Louis beat the Knights to even the World Series at two games apiece.
The game was a classic pitching duel between Bob Feller and Bucky Walters. Feller only allowed one run in 6+ innings, striking out 6, while Walters only allowed three hits but took the loss.
Cecil Travis knocked in the first run of the game with a single in the second inning, giving St Louis a 1-0 lead. Charlie Gehringer homered for Harlem in the fourth to tie the game. It remained that way until the bottom of the ninth, when St Louis finally won.
